Researchers have come up with a new kind of lithium-ion battery that can be painted on just about any surface.
That means no more thick, heavy batteries in electronic devices.
Could this be the answer to the current heavy, electric car batteries?

Most innovations come with a high price until competition steps in. I think it could be categorized as green energy since it may ultimately end up in battery operated cars.
I wonder what the process is of making it and if it would be classed as green energy.
The price may take a bit to adhere to the common commercial world though, which is always unfortunate.
You are right. I hope they can find practical applications of it soon.
